Some useful information on kegs:

In terms of liquid measurements, keg sizes are not standardized.  The sizes vary from country to country and brewery to brewery because many countries use the metric system instead of U.S. gallons.  In the U.S., a beer barrel is legally defined as containing 31 U.S. gallons.  The following information is strictly for US measurements ...

A full keg is 15.5 U.S. gallons and is routinely called a half-barrel.  We commonly call this a half-keg ... this is equivalent to 165.3, 12 ounce bottles or cans of beer ... it is the most popular size sold in the US

Quarter-barrel ... 7-3/4 gallons of beer ... this is equivalent to 82.65, 12 ounce bottles or cans of beer ... also known as a quarter keg or a pony keg

One-sixth barrel ... 5-1/6 gallons of beer ... this is equivalent to 55.1, 12 ounce bottles or cans of beer

One-eighth barrel ... 3-7/8 gallons of beer ... this is equivalent to 41.325, 12 ounce bottles or cans of beer

The quarter barrel is typically shorter in height than the half-barrel.  They do make a quarter barrel that is the same height.  This is referred to as the quarter slim barrel

The 1/8 and 1/6 barrels are the same height as the half-barrel, thus they are slim
